After almost a full week of rain I was finally able to get out and shoot a new-to-me film that I’ve been wanting to try for some time now. That film is CatLABS x80. The Shots below were shot in my YashicaMAT 124G. The film was rated at box speed (80 ISO) and metered using the myLightMeter app on my iPhone.

For development I used Kodak Xtol at a dilution of 1+1 at 68 degrees for 10:30.
The results I got made me quite happy to say the least. Especially for it being my first roll. I have two more rolls to play with before I make up my mind on if I want to keep shooting this emulsion, but if the other two rolls go as well as this one did then I can see this film being a frequent shooter.
Have you shot this film? If so, let me know what you think of it and any tips you have for getting the most out of it.
Happy Shooting!
